Edward “Ted” Lentz
Senior Vice PresidentTed assists various companies, owners and other stakeholders on developing and executing business transition strategies, with a particular focus on ESOP ownership transactions. Ted enjoys providing clients with key perspectives on the succession planning options available to private business owners as well as the unique opportunities and considerations involved in transitioning ownership of a business to its employees through an ESOP transaction.
Ted has more than three decades of executive experience in business advisory and operations leadership roles. Prior to joining SES ESOP Strategies, he was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Analytics Officer of a private equity-owned national wholesale food ingredient distributor, which acquired the company Ted owned and operated for 13 years as its President. He currently serves in a board capacity for two middle-market companies (one privately-owned, one private equity-owned) that operate in the food service industry.
